These terms govern your use of BoxPilot. BoxPilot is provided by Rightbox Ltd (trading as BoxPilot), company number 12645057, registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using BoxPilot, you agree to these terms.
The service
BoxPilot is a software platform for managing corrugated packaging procurement, including specifications, suppliers, purchase orders, spend and packaging-compliance information. We are actively developing the product and features may be added, changed or removed over time.
Your account
You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done under your account, including by colleagues you invite. Tell us promptly at hello@boxpilot.co.uk if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Plans, pricing and payment
The core Manage plan is free to use. Paid plans (such as Insights) are billed as shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. We may change our prices, but we will give you reasonable notice before a change affects a plan you are paying for. Prices exclude VAT unless stated. Introductory or free-period offers apply as described when you take them up.
Your data
The information you put into BoxPilot remains yours. You grant us the permission we need to host and process it in order to provide the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to store that information and that it is accurate and lawful. Our handling of any personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse BoxPilot. In particular, you must not use it to break the law, upload harmful or infringing content, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or resell it without our agreement.
Compliance information is not advice
BoxPilot helps you organise and present packaging data, including figures relevant to EPR and PPWR. This information is provided to support your own reporting and is not legal, regulatory or financial advice. Calculations and classifications are estimates based on the data you provide, and you are responsible for checking them against official sources and for your own compliance. Rightbox Ltd is not liable for reporting decisions you make.
Buyers, suppliers and dealings between them
BoxPilot is a software platform. It helps buyers and suppliers of corrugated packaging find each other, share specifications and exchange quotes. BoxPilot is not a supplier, manufacturer or seller of packaging, and is not a party to any transaction, contract, order or agreement between a buyer and a supplier.
Any quote, order, purchase, sale or contract arranged through or after using BoxPilot is made directly between the buyer and the supplier, on their own terms, and they alone are responsible for it. In particular, Rightbox Ltd is not responsible or liable for:
- the quality, safety, fitness, accuracy or specification of any goods;
- delivery, timing, quantities or fulfilment of any order;
- prices quoted, invoicing, payment, non-payment or a party's creditworthiness;
- the accuracy of any specification, quote or information provided by a buyer or supplier;
- the acts, omissions or conduct of any buyer or supplier; or
- any dispute between a buyer and a supplier.
We do not guarantee or endorse any buyer or supplier. Where BoxPilot marks a supplier as "verified" or similar, that reflects only the limited checks described in the product at the time and is not a warranty of quality, capability or reliability. Buyers and suppliers are responsible for their own due diligence and for satisfying themselves about who they trade with.
Availability
We work to keep BoxPilot available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during this early-access period. We may carry out maintenance or make changes that cause temporary downtime.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, BoxPilot is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, data or business. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period (or, if you are on the free plan, £100). [Liability caps are a key point to confirm with a solicitor.]
Intellectual property
BoxPilot, including the platform, its design and its content (other than your data), belongs to Rightbox Ltd. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using BoxPilot and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we stop providing the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data where possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time and will let you know of significant changes. For any questions, email hello@boxpilot.co.uk.
